Art Classification Label

Based on the NFPA fire diamond which indicates hazards to Health, level of Flammability, Reactivity and imparts special instructions, we have developed a color coded, numerically ordered simple universal labelling system for Art. Email us to receive your ready–to–print label sheet, with all available symbol variations, to make your art collection comply with these new standards.

Three coloured diamonds with magnitudes in five increments indicating:

BLUE  indicates how the artwork reacts with viewers and the environment.

RED  the base category of the work.

YELLOW  the mediation and context of the work.

A fourth symbol gives range for special instructions that may be required for safe use of the work.

Consistent implementation by the correct regulatory framework will ensure artworks may now be handled, viewed, experienced and exchanged with the minimum of risk.

Thus a harmonious interaction for all stakeholders may be facilitated with rigorous appraisal and calibrated precision.

Initial interest will be welcomed from supra-national entities with the requisite skillsets that can effectively action a structured roll out of high integrity.

And soon, every pigeon, will be holed.
