Marcin Dudek‘s solo Too Close For Comfort opens this Saturday at Harlan Levey Projects in Brussels. And as we already know, any artist selected by Harlan is definitely worth a closer inspection. “Basement Fitness” and its discontents will be the main theme of these new series of sculptures and photographs by the Polish-born and London-based artist, which employs so-called anti-ready made style to communicate his message to the public.
Rubber bullets, catastrophic modernism, infiltration of collective perception and behavior, sub cultural resistance … if you’re looking for harmony and peace of mind, this show is definitely not for you. Otherwise, we’ll see you Saturday afternoon!
Exhibition runs from January 26th till March 2nd.
