Jonas Pfeil, student at the Technical University of Berlin, thought up a smart device that promises to overcome constraints of taking a complete panoramic photograph – and moreover looks like lot of fun.
With his Panoramic Ball Camera (above) you’ll be able to capture 360-degree panorama by just throwing it in the air. The unit uses 36 2-megapixel cell phone camera modules mounted in the padded sphere. Built-in is also an accelerometer, which ensures that the shutter gets released at calculated climax of flight (when the ball is almost stable).
The patent is currently pending & we sure hope that this beauty will be out for sale soon!
