Ashley Zelinskie – who you might know as one of the driving forces behind Curbs and Stoops – is a new media artist who loves blurring the lines between art and technology.

A year ago she decided to start using Reddit (a platform that aggregates websites liked or unliked by its community members and thus shows what’s hot and what’s not on the web) as a source of inspiration. This resulted in works such as Reverse Abstraction – an investigation of how computers would perceive existing works of art by turning them into binary codes.
Soon Ashley will be throwing her first anniversary party on Reddit, with Skype sessions amongst anonymous Reddit users from all over the world, turning it into a full-blown digital art performance.
