can photography see in the future? well, with valentina tanni as one of the curators this question is of course a rhetorical one! so let’s just say bluntly that if u want to know the future of society, and of photography, the a place for u to be next thursday is the 9th edition of “fotografia, international photography festival” in rome. valentina’s “maps and legends. when photography met the web” is the show covering the photography and new media section, & exploring relationships between photography and internet culture.
the festival opens on september 23rd & u can visit it until october 24. book yr plane tickets now!!

‘made‘ is a concept of a berlin-based artist tadirock, which functions as a creative platform for all forms of cutting-edge art. for its ‘visions of visionaries‘ blog section, ‘made’ has recently interviewed han hoogerbrugge. after listening to the master’s thoughts we can surely state one thing: your goals show some striking resemblance to ours, han… in other words: may the cash be with us! ;-)
we honor all our friends in america by joining their noble cause this day!
we also wish:
to patrick: save flights, hoping he gets to la in one piece for the ‘beyond the street book signing’,
to han: stay away from the bombs – at least for today ;-)
& to marianna & vincent: an exciting & explosive wedding (for which we’re already running late, shit, shit, shit….)
