
the museum of brands, packaging & advertising spans a 120-year period in the history of consumerism, culture, design, domestic life, fashion, folly and fate, with an emphasis on british goodies ;-). the gem which u can see above makes part of a ongoing exhibition of political mugs. sounds like something that shouldn’t be missed… :-P

we’ve been passing pascal bernier‘s scull installations on several recent artfairs & they certainly caught our eye! an on-going theme in pascal’s work are dominating relationships, both among animals and between animals and humans.

we loved the work of allora & calzadilla @ art basel. both their prints and installations really did it for us. alex from lisson gallery mentioned they’ll have a gallery show during frieze. another reason to be in london next october :=)
